The Internet is a big place – especially for tattoo freaks like you and me! My boyfriend actually stumbled across this Tattoo Finder service that he wanted me to share with you. It’s got lots of really cool tattoos – everything from this one awesome barcode tattoo to toe ring tattoos and ankle bracelet tattoos.
Before I show you the tattoo finder, I want to spend just a minute on tattoos in general.
Tattoos are big decisions. How big do you want it? What colors? Can you design the tattoo online? There really is a lot to think about. I know when I got my first tattoo, I had the most difficult time picking it out.

Chopper Tattoo is an awesome Tattoo Finder website. They’ve seriously got pretty much everything. I don’t necessarily like how ‘simple’ their interface is, but it’s awesome for finding now tattoo designs quickly and easily. My boyfriend even uses it in his tattoo shop for his clients.

Don’t get too excited about Chopper Tattoos bonuses though – they basically suck. The music downloads and the tattoo parlor directory are pretty shitty. Inked magazine is cool but only delivered online.
That being said, the Chopper Tattoo Finder membership is pretty cool.

Chopper Tattoo is the most popular tattoo finder online – as well as one of the oldest. They basically ‘standardized’ finding tattoos online. There are almost 4,000 tattoos in the database that you can download and print out. The Tattoo Finder also has a ton of high quality photos that you can use for inspiration!
One awesome feature about Chopper Tattoo is they let tattoo artists submit their work for inclusion in the tattoo finder service. My boyfriend has 4 tattoos in there! Cool huh?
Tattoo designs are browsable by category. You can download them, use them and print them out during your membership period. Each category has a big page with all the tattoo designs on it. No need to hunt and peck through the site to find a design you like. Chopper Tattoo biggest tattoo finder competitor, Tattoo Me Now makes you flip from page to page.
In total, there are over 40 individual categories of tattoos in Chopper Tattoo. Most of those categories have between 50 and 100 designs. Of course, categories like tribal tattoo designs, dragon tattoos, and chinese symbols have hundreds of designs to choose from.
Chopper Tattoo has 3 different membership options, depending on how long you want to remain a member. For example, my boyfriend is a lifetime member because he works in a tattoo shop. If you’re just going to get one tattoo – 30 days access would work just fine.

Chopper Tattoo Finder – The Negatives
Chopper Tattoo, with all it’s positives, has some drawbacks:
- There aren’t any advanced search features
- The tattoo parlor bonus sucks
- There are some ads in the members area.
